thoughts on children in gothic and the repressed past

we talked today about children, and why we are afraid of them. haunted by them. and how evil children imply an upset of innocence and purity. and how their deeds are so unsettling because of their age. because they came that way, and no one taught them to do that. we are scared because they are ours. bone of my bones, flesh of my flesh transformed and malicious.

thank heaven for little girls, the little girls from the ring and the others, though i doubt they came from heaven.

they are haunted by a repressed past, when she drowned you for whatever reason.

but why are children so disturbed? i speculate because they are only children. and when faced with traumatic experiences they are not physically or emotionally capable of dealing with them. how many of your friends are messed up from divorce, childhood abuse, and the dysfunction of the family?
